
Cotter had a successful night as they were able to sweep four basketball games Friday at Eureka Springs.
The Warriors took the senior boys’ game over the Highlanders 43-36. Payton McGee led Cotter with 22 points.
Cotter invoked the mercy rule in the senior girls’ contest as they routed Eureka Springs 56-23. The Lady Warriors were led by Morgan Zick with 19 points, and Emma Jones added 14.
Cotter was also able to get the win in the junior boys’ game. The Junior Warriors defeated Eureka Springs 33-25.
The mercy rule was also needed for the junior girls’ game. Cotter was able to beat up on Eureka Springs 43-13.
The Viola High School girls had a good night on the home floor. The Lady Longhorns were able to topple Calico Rock by a final of 69-37.
Ozark Mountain’s boys came away with an easy win on Senior Night. The Bears breezed past Greenland 52-32.
Lead Hill ended up splitting its high school games on Senior Night with another group of Tigers from Green Forest.
Lead Hill got the victory in the girls’ game. The were able to beat Green Forest 43-31.
Lead Hill did not fare as well in the boys’ contest as they lost to Green Forest 86-56. Kaden Baker led Lead Hill with 17 points and 10 rebounds, Jayce Williams scored 16 points, and Mason Cain chipped in 12.
Bergman was able to post a pair of easy high school wins at West Fork. The Lady Panthers pounded the Lady Tigers 67-29. Bergman’s boys also destroyed West Fork 85-61.
