Investigators are looking into the death of a 14-year-old boy from Thayer.
According to the Thayer Police Department’s Facebook page, Thursday evening, officers responded to a report of a possible juvenile death at a residence located in the area of North 3rd Street in Thayer.
Upon arrival to the residence the boy was found unconscious and unresponsive. Officers rendered medical aid to the juvenile who was then transported to Ozarks Healthcare in West Plains and pronounced deceased.
Officials state the investigation is ongoing and no other information will be released at this time.
