The Mountain Home High School girls’ soccer team ended up finishing in third place on Saturday in the First Community Bank Lady Southerner Invitational at Southside Batesville.
The Lady Bombers started the day with a 2-0 win over Cave City. The Lady Bombers did not fare as well in their second match as they lost to Russellville 1-0. Mountain Home wrapped up the day by topping Morrilton 5-1.
Lily Hinson led Mountain Home six goals on the day, including a hat trick in the match against Morrilton. Kelsey Blackwell scored a goal and dished out two assists, Kendra Medley had two assists, and Wyllow Larsen and Kendra McLean each added an assist.
The Lady Bombers improve to 3-1 on the season, and they’ll travel to Arkadelphia on Tuesday.
