A boil water order has been issued in Newton County.
According to the Arkansas Department of Health, an order for residents in the Mockingbird Hill Water Association in the area of Will Jones Road due to a main break. The previous order issued on Feb. 27 for maintenance related work was lifted Friday afternoon.
A boil order remains in effect for Marion County for customers of Marion County 4010, east of Patton Cemetery, including Fox Hunt Lane and 4042 due to a construction related water line break.
All affected customers are advised the water may be unsafe for human consumption, and water used for drinking or food preparation must be boiled briskly for one minute prior to use.
All ice cubes should be discarded and only boiled water used for making ice.
