
The Arkansas State University-Mountain Home baseball team was able to notch another victory on Monday. The Trailblazers’ 14-6 win over Arkansas Tech’s junior varsity squad included a six-run eighth inning.
Brayden Carmichael was ASU-Mountain Home’s starting pitcher as he went 3 1/3 innings, struck out three batters and gave up four hits and three runs.
Breck Burris led the Blazers with three hits, including a home run in the second inning; Devin Qualls provided three hits; Alex Harrel finished with two hits, including a home run; and J.J. Young added two hits on the day.
ASU-Mountain Home will return to Cooper Park on Wednesday for a doubleheader with Arkansas Baptist.
