
Mountain Home Kindergarten will hold its annual spring registration, Friday, April 7 from 8 until 3:30 by appointment only.
A Google form must be filled out to reserve a time to bring children in for registration. Academic assessments, vision and hearing screenings will take place and all enrollment forms and required documents will be turned in at this time.
A child must be five years of age on or before August 1, 2023 to be eligible to attend public school kindergarten.
Required documents for enrollment include:
Official state birth certificate or other official birth record;
The student’s social security card;
A current immunization record or appointment card; and
A physical within the last two years.
Immunization requirements and a child’s physical must take place before registration. If unable to complete this, an appointment must be made and an appointment card must be brought to registration.
If a residence is outside the boundaries of the school district, the opportunity to fill out a school choice application will be available at the central office. The school choice application is due by no later than May 1.
Mountain Home Public Schools state there is an after school program for those in Kindergarten through 2nd grade from 3 until 6 for $5 per day with a selection as few or as many days needed.
