
For Arkansas, the biggest weekend in high school basketball begins Thursday. The first of the three-day state championship event will get underway at Bank OZK Arena in downtown Hot Springs.
The first games during the afternoon session will be in Class 4A. The girls’ contest tips off at noon between Farmington and Nashville, and the boys’ game between Blytheville and Little Rock Christian is scheduled for 1:45.
The evening session will feature the state title games for Class 5A. Vilonia will be paired with Greenwood in the girls’ game at 6, and the boys’ contest will match Lake Hamilton with Pine Bluff at 7:45.
All state championship games will be televised by Arkansas PBS.
