
The Mountain Home High School softball team was able to pick up another win as they defeated Valley Springs 15-5 at McClain Park. Emma Crabb was credited with the victory as she struck out seven batters.
Olivia Crabb led the Lady Bomber offense by going 4-for-5 with an RBI; Mallorie Drewry, Abby Green and Carly Hardin each went 2-for-4 with two RBIs; Kiley Horne went 1-for-2, drew a walk, was hit by a pitch and drove in two runs; and Brooklyn Arms was 1-for-2, was hit by two pitches and added an RBI.
Mountain Home improves to 2-0 on the season.
Mountain Home’s junior varsity squad later got past Valley Springs 4-3 in a three-inning outing. Green went 1-for-2 and drove in three runs, Karleigh Drewry and Amelia Mason each went 1-for-2, and Carly Pittman was 1-for-1 with a walk. The J.V. Lady Bombers are also 2-0.
