The Class 1A state basketball championship games featured a rematch from last year between two area girls’ teams.

After winning the state title last year, Norfork’s quest to repeat came up short as Mammoth Spring posted the 45-36 victory. Kiley Alman led the Lady Panthers with 13 points. Adrianna Corbett scored 14 points for the Lady Bears, Laney Young added 13, and Brynn Washam was named the game’s most valuable player. Norfork finishes the season at 32-8, and Mammoth Spring ends up 38-4.

County Line’s hit the game winner with about three seconds left to get past another group of Indians from Marked Tree 46-44. County Line was led by Cooper Watson with 14 points, and Aundrae Milum was selected as the MVP. Ladarrius Brown had 11 points for Marked Tree, Donny Childs chipped in 10, and Jonah Walker grabbed 14 rebounds. County Line ends up undefeated in 45 games on the season, and Marked Tree falls to 29-4.
