MH woman injured in 1-vehicle accident in Missouri

A Mountain Home woman was injured Saturday evening in a one-vehicle accident in Missouri. Seventy-four-year-old Diana Mattson was transported by ambulance to Phelps Health Hospital in Rolla with what were described as moderate injuries.

According to the Missouri State Highway Patrol, Diana Mattson was a passenger in a vehicle driven by 76-year-old Charles Mattson of Mountain Home on Interstate 44. They were at the 200-mile marker in eastern Phelps County when the vehicle reportedly traveled off the right side of the roadway, went across the north outer road and two fences and came to rest against an embankment.

Charles Mattson was not injured in the 6:35 p.m. accident. His vehicle was totaled.
