
The Arkansas Razorback basketball team is set to begin in third consecutive appearance in the NCAA Tournament Thursday in Des Moines, Iowa. The Hogs’ opening opponent will be Illinois.
Arkansas enters the tournament as the eighth-seeded team in the West Region. The Razorbacks are currently 20-13 on the season after falling to Texas A&M in the quarterfinals of the SEC Tournament.
Illinois is the region’s No. 9 seed. The Fighting Illini have record of 20-12 as they come off an upset loss to Penn State in the second round of the Big Ten Tournament.
Tip-off at Wells Fargo Arena is scheduled for 3:30. Thursday’s game can be seen on TBS.
