
Baseball and softball make up much of the local Thursday schedule.
The Mountain Home High School baseball team will be back on the road as they step out of conference play for a matchup with Paragould. The varsity game begins at 4:30 followed by the junior varsity contest.
Elsewhere, Norfork hosts Viola, Flippin travels to Jasper, Salem makes the trip to Brockwell to meet Izard County, Mammoth Spring entertains Crowley’s Ridge Academy, Melbourne heads to Greers Ferry to face West Side, and Lead Hill takes on Valley Springs at the Equity Bank Sports Complex in Harrison.
The Mountain Home junior varsity softball team will be back in front of the home crowd as they welcome Harrison to McClain Park for a doubleheader. The first game at Freedom Field is set for 4:30.
