A couple of high school softball games featured area teams on Wednesday. Flippin fell at Viola 16-1, and Calico Rock was edged out by Greers Ferry West Side.
Two area baseball teams were also in action. Viola routed Shirley 16-1, and Calico Rock lost to West Side 16-6.
