Mountain Home School Board forced to put teacher contract renewals on hold

Due to questions about the newly passed LEARNS act by the Arkansas legislature, including how the increase in teacher pay will be funded, the Mountain Home school board has been forced to put teacher renewals on hold. The action was taken during Thursday night’s meeting. Superintendent Dr. Jake Long has details on the session.

The policy for the Mountain Home School Board is to issue teacher contracts by March 31 each year.
