Another fundraiser is underway for the Donald W. Reynolds Library to support its events and various programs. A quilt raffle is being hosted by the Friends of the Baxter County Library.
The twin-size quilt, depicting a bookshelf filled with colorful books, will be hung on display in the glass case near the entrance to the library. It was donated to the Friends of the Library for the raffle by Mountain Home resident Darlene Landrum. According to the library, Landram is a nationally-certified quilt judge and an avid quilter for the last 20 years, and she “enjoys making art and traditional quilts with modern elements.”
Raffle tickets are available at the library through the drawing on April 26 at 6:15pm. Tickets are $5 each or five for $20 and can be purchased at the circulation desk. Cash or checks will be accepted.
