A sporting event benefitting the Friends of Horseshoe Bend Animals Spay/Neuter Fund will be moving to Norfork Lake this year. Box Hound Marina and Resort will present the 32nd-annual Dogwood Buddy Bass Tournament is scheduled for April 1 from 7 to 3 at Panther Bay Marina.
The entry fee is $100 per boat, and $10 will go toward the big bass pot. Entries will be accepted by mail or at the tournament beginning at 5 that morning.
The winning team will be guaranteed $1,000, $500 will go to the runners-up, and the third place finishers will take home $250.
