A two-day event is coming up next week for fifth, sixth and seventh grade students in Mountain Home interested in playing football. The Junior Bomber Football Camp is scheduled for March 29 and 30 from 5:30 to 7 each night at Bomber Stadium.
The event is free of charge. Campers would have the option of showing up one or both nights. Participants are encouraged to wear comfortable athletic clothing and football cleats.
Mountain Home High School head coach Steve Ary, his staff and some of the high school players will have campers go through position drills, and they’ll also have some games set up. Ary says it’s a fun event for everyone involved, and it gives his staff an opportunity to evaluate the kids before the upcoming fall season.
