MH woman, daughters involved in southern Missouri water rescue

A Mountain Home woman and her two daughters were involved in a rescue attempt after a vehicle was swept away at a low-water crossing in southern Missouri. Teresa Chairs says her children were able to get two of the occupants to safety, but another was swept away in the vehicle.

Chairs says the incident occurred Thursday evening at the Finley Creek crossing on Missouri Route Z, south of Fordland in Webster County.

According to the Springfield News-Leader, the third occupant and the vehicle have not been located.
