Several prescribed burns continue on Wednesday for locations in Baxter, Fulton, Izard, Marion, Newton and Stone counties.
According to the U.S. Forest Service, the Ozark-St. Francis National Forest will see 1441 acres burned eight miles south of Norfork. In addition 60 acres five miles southeast of Viola and 80 acres of forest seven miles southeast of Calico Rock will be burned.
In Marion County, 15 acres seven miles north and 6 acres 1.5 miles south of Bull Shoals will be burned.
Newton County will see 4615 acres burned by aerial ignition 17 miles southeast of Jasper. Backing fires 6 miles south (18 acres) and 14 miles east (1864 acres) of Jasper will also be included in the prescribed burn.
In Stone County, 78 acres will be burned 11 miles south of Mountain View.
