MH School Board to meet Thursday night

The Mountain Home Public School Board of Education will hold its regular monthly meeting Thursday evening at 6 in the Central Office Board Room.Items on the agenda include hearing reports and presentations from EAST, Chief Williams and NJROTC, Guy Berry, District Librarians, Pathways and recognizing staff members with 30 years of service. The board will also hear academic, financial, enrollment reports and facility project updates.

Board members will also hear requests to approve the replacement of the stage in Dunbar Auditorium; replacement of playground borders throughout the district; repairs to the Nelson-Wilks Herron parking lot; to purchase specialized equipment and supplies to perform maintenance on tile flooring through the district; and a request to purchase two 71 passenger gasoline route busses in the amount of $130,285 each.

The board will also hear a request to approve the 2023-24 school-level improvement plans for each campus. The school-level improvement plan will track leading indicators for school-level actions to monitor, assess, reflect, and adjust planned actions in a continuous inquiry cycle for improvement for students.
