Three teams from MH FFA earn state championship recognition

Last Saturday, the Mountain Home FFA went to the state Career Development Event at the University of Arkansas.

Students completed in 12 different events they must pre-qualified for at the district level. Events included Ag Mechanics, Ag Communications, Agronomy, Meat Evaluation, Farm Business Management, Turfgrass Management, Land, Poultry, Food Science, Floriculture, Nursery Landscape, Milk Quality ,Wildlife, and Vet Science.

Three teams earned State Champion recognition in Ag Business, Farm Business and Vet Science.

The Ag Business team included Reid Tagami, Jack Coleman, Aidan Shrable and Josh Dickinson. Coleman received high point and Tagami received 2nd high point.

The Agronomy team included Zach Barr, Kinsey DeVine, Devyn Prins and Amelia Mason. Prins earned 2nd high point individual overall.

The Vet Science team included Colton Cooley, Hannah Baker, Kelsey Roach and Annie Williams.
