Baseball and softball are included on the local Wednesday schedule.
Viola will begin hosting the 1A-2 District Baseball Tournament. Norfork and Shirley get underway at noon, and Calico Rock faces Concord at 2.
Two area baseball teams will be in Tuckerman for the 3A-2 District Tournament. Mountain View and Cave City get started at 4, and Salem takes on the host Bulldogs at 6.
Bergman’s baseball team will be in Lincoln for the first game of the 3A-1 District Tournament. The Panthers play Green Forest at 5.
Viola is also the site for the 1A-2 District Softball Tournament. Norfork and Rural Special will start the tournament at noon on Field 3, and the winner will be paired with Concord at 2 on Field 2.
Two area softball teams will square off as the 3A-2 District Tournament continues at Tuckerman. Melbourne and Mountain View are set for the first pitch at 4.
Bergman will also send its softball team to Lincoln for the opener of the 3A-1 District Tournament. The Lady Panthers face West Fork at 5.
In other softball, Gainesville travels to Fordland, and Mammoth Spring makes the trip to Armorel for two five-inning games.
