
The Mountain Home Public Schools (MHPS) Board of Education will hold its regular scheduled monthly meeting Thursday night at 6 in the Central Office Board Room.
Items on the agenda include approval of the fiscal year 2022 Legislative Audit Report; a revision to the MHPS retention and recruitment plan; final budget amendments to the 2022-23 school year; approval of safety grant purchases for access controlled doors and classroom phones; routine maintenance of high school parking lots; homebound service agreement; use of Solution Tree for summer professional development; renewal of ESS contract for 2023-24 school year for substitute teaching services; approval to purchase supplements school supplies for 2023-24.
In addition, recipients for the Richard Padget Extra Mile award and Teacher of the Year award will be announced by Dr. Jake Long.
Prior to meeting, the district will host a reception for retiring staff members at 4 at the Hacker Intermediate School Library.
