The U.S. Army Corps of Engineers (USACE) announced day use fees at recreation areas nationwide will be waived Friday in observance of the USACE birthday and Monday in observance of Juneteenth National Independence Day. Officials state normal day use fees will be in effect Saturday and Sunday.
The waiver covers fees for boat launch ramps and swim beaches only. It does not apply to camping and camping-related services or fees for specialized facilities and events.
