Boil order in Mountain View lifted

A boil water order issued this week in the city of Mountain View is no longer in effect. The order from Mountain View Waterworks was lifter Wednesday afternoon.

According to the Arkansas Department of Health, the boil order had been issued early Monday evening due to a water line break. It affected customers on Edgar, Vine, Rock, Union, Knox and Lancaster Avenues and Jackson, Washington, Clarence, Oak and Briarwood Streets. Residents living on King Avenue north of Clarence Street were also affected.
