Alley-White dominates doubleheader at West Plains

The Mountain Home Alley-White American Legion baseball team had a dominating outing Monday as they went on the road and swept West Plains.

Alley-White routed West Plains 10-1 in the opener. Maddex Chism got the win as he pitched four innings and struck out two batters. Erik Foster led the Mountain Home offense with two hits.

The second game was more lopsided as Alley-White pounded West Plains 20-7. Foster was the winning pitcher. Owen Morris was 2-for-4 at the plate with a double, and Will Morris had a pair of singles.

Mountain Home improves to 10-12 on the season, and they’ll travel to Gainesville on Thursday.
