
On Monday, listeners of KTLO, Classic Hits and The Boot News heard from Dr. Rob Conner of All Creatures Veterinary Hospital on steps to keep pets safe during the summer. Meanwhile, the staff at the Humane Society of North Central Arkansas has some additional things they do to keep dogs and cats cool during the heat and additional advice for local pet owners.
Shelter manager Carolyn Carter says the humane society staff takes full advantage of its central air.
