Several Baxter County residents are without power. According to a Facebook post from North Arkansas Electric Cooperative, crews are responding to an outage affecting the entire Mallard Point substation. The cooperative’s outage map shows 2,151 members in Baxter County are without power. A cause of the outage has not been given, but the estimated restoration time at 4:45 Friday afternoon was two to three hours. Updates will be provided as soon as they become available.
