A sex offender is currently in the Ozark County Jail on an allegation of not residing where he was registered. Brian Cuthbertson is facing charges of failure to register as a sex offender and resisting arrest.
According to a Facebook post from the Ozark County Sheriff’s Office, a deputy spotted Cuthbertson last Thursday driving to a residence he had been staying at in Ozark County, but he was registered in Taney County. A traffic stop was initiated, and as he was being taken into custody, Cuthbertson allegedly attempted to resist. A use of force reportedly occurred.
Bond for Cuthbertson is currently set at $7,500.
