
The Mountain Home Building Inspection Department has released a report stating 38 building permits were issued in June.
A new residential building tops the permits and has been issued to Hutch Homes for property located at 100 South Sheeks Avenue with a construction value of two million.
Two permits for residential buildings have been issued to Rip Gresham Construction for properties located at 21 and 23 Doral Court with a value of $427,000;
A permit has been issued to Strickland Metal Erectors on behalf of Hometown Storage for a new commerical building located at 3894 Arkansas Avenue, valued at $177,000;
A permit for a commercial remodel has been issued to Gregory Co, Inc. for property located at 1629 South College Street with a value of $150,000;
Fourteen permits have been issued to Gracy-Built Custom Homes on behalf of Riverwalk Rentals, LLC. for new residential properties at 347 through 385 Turnberry Court, each with a value of $132,000;
Two permits have been issued to Spillers Quarry Cabins for new residential buildings at 244 and 279 Cliffside Trail with a value of $60,000 each;
A permit has been issued to Joseph Vanmatre for a residential addition for property located at 3296 Highway 62 West, valued at $50,000;
A permit for a residential addition has been issued to Garrett Tucker for property located at 110 Western Trail valued at $47,000;
A residential addition permit has been issued to Shane Fundyk for property located at 208 Arkansas Avenue with a value of $5,000; and
A residential addition permit has been issued to Kevin Williams for property located at 1219 Sunshine Drive with a value of $2,061.
Seven permits were for commercial signs and issued to:
A to Z Signs on behalf of The Water Store located at 157 South Main Street valued at $10,800
Dijohn Designs on behalf of Boston Mountain located at 444 Hospital Drive valued at $3,500;
Sign Tech on behalf of ERA Doty located at 1357 Highway 62 West valued at $2,000;
Oxford Signs on behalf of Play it Again Games located at 2113 Highway 62 East valued at $1,350;
Oxford Signs on behalf of Baxter Medical located 603 North Town valued at $785; and
Dijohn Designs on behalf of Sharp Automotive located at 1419 Highway 62 West valued at $700.
The other five permits were for temporary signs and issued to:
Horton Asphalt on behalf of The Dels/Mark Bertel for property located at 145 South Main Street valued at $100;
Farrow Plumbing for property located at 1211 Commerce Drive valued at $100;
Horton Asphalt on behalf of Lakeview Auto Sales for property located at 803 Sanford Lane valued at $100;
Horton Asphalt on behalf of Nelson-Wilks Herron Elementary for property located at 610 North College Street valued at $100; and
Horton Asphalt on behalf of Mountain Home High School for property located at 500 Bomber Boulevard valued at $100.
Building permit totals for the month of June equals $7,730. Total construction costs equal $5,842.
