A Mountain Home woman was recently extradited to Douglas County on drug charges stemming from an incident occurring nearly a year ago. A grand jury indicted 40-year-old Brittany Wadsworth last month on three counts of possession of a controlled substance.
According to the Douglas County Sheriff’s Office, a traffic stop was conducted on July 28 of last year for careless and imprudent driving. During the stop, a deputy located numerous types of controlled substances inside the vehicle.
Wadsworth was a passenger in the vehicle driven by Daniel Chentnik, and both were transported back to the Douglas County Sheriff’s Office. Chentnik had already been charged in the matter.
Wadsworth was taken to the Douglas County Jail on June 27. She is currently being held without bond.
