
Sunday night’s thunderstorm activity resulted in several power outages. As of 5:20 Monday morning, Entergy Arkansas reported power was out to 2,120 of its customers in Marion County, one in Izard County, 16 in Searcy County, two in Stone County and 824 in Boone County. North Arkansas Electric Cooperative had 24 members in Baxter County and one in Marion County without power. White River Valley Electric Cooperative had outages for one member in Ozark County, 13 in Boone County, 5,791 in Taney County and six in Douglas County.
There have been just a few reports of damage from the storms. A Boone County Sheriff’s Office spokesperson says some trees were down on roads throughout the county. The Twitter account BransonWX was sent a picture of a tree on top of a vehicle near the Welk Resort in Branson. No one was hurt in the incident.
At KTLO, Classic Hits and The Boot, the official reporting station for the National Weather Service in Mountain Home, a total of .84 of an inch of rain have fallen since Sunday night.
