A man is accused of breaking into a Fulton County residence and taking several items. Fifty-five-year-old Jerry Don Clements is facing felony counts of residential burglary, possession of drug paraphernalia, methamphetamine or cocaine, a misdemeanor count of theft of property valued at less than $1,000 and a penalty enhancement as a habitual offender.

According to the probable cause affidavit, Fulton County deputies responded June 27 to the residence north of Hardy on Wolf Hollow Circle. The victim claimed she returned home and found her residence broken into and several items missing. She reportedly named Clements as a suspect.

The next day, deputies responded to an abandoned truck at Cold Springs Access on the Spring River and made contact with a male identified as Clements. A truck matching the one identified by the victim was also located near the bank of the river, and deputies located items reported stolen in the bed. In addition, a hypodermic syringe commonly used to inject illicit drugs was reportedly located in the truck.

According to a return from the Arkansas Crime Information Center, Clements has been convicted of at least four felonies. His bond is set at $50,000.
