Twin Lakes Golf Course will be the site of a fundraiser for the Cotter High School athletic department later this month. The second-annual Cotter Warrior Open is a two-man scramble tournament scheduled for Aug. 26 with a rain date set for Sept. 9.
The day begins with registration at 8 a.m., and the shotgun start is an hour later. The cost is $100 per team, and carts are $20 extra. Golfers who already have their own carts are asked to bring them. Checks should be made payable to “Cotter Schools.”
Flights will be determined based on registrations, and there will be an all-women’s flight. Prizes will also be awarded for the longest drive, the closest to the hole and a hole-in-one.
