High school football dominates the local Friday schedule as the season gets underway, and Mountain Home will begin its 2023 campaign on the road. The Bombers will be in Jonesboro as they meet Nettleton.
Mountain Home is coming off a season in which they finished 4-8. The 2022 campaign included the Bombers’ third consecutive trip to the quarterfinals of the Class 6A State Playoffs where they fell to Pulaski Academy at Little Rock.
Steve Ary is beginning his fourth season as the Mountain Home head coach, and he says his team will need a good performance on both sides of the ball to beat Nettleton.
