Sinor, McClain win Arvest Bank Charity Golf Tournament co-sponsored by Yelcot

Austin Sinor and Gage McClain were crowned the winners of the Arvest Bank Charity Golf Tournament co-sponsored by Yelcot Saturday at Big Creek Golf and Country Club. Sinor and McClain took the Championship Flight with a 16-under-par 56. Terry and Cody Cormican won the tiebreaker for second place over Shayne Rorie and Landon Booy after both teams finished two strokes off the lead.

Three teams finished at the top of the A Flight leaderboard with a five-under-par 67. Trevor Himschoot and Wes Wood won the tiebreaker, Scott and Colin Copeland were second, and Clay Maxey and Erik Stewart ended up third.

A tiebreaker was needed to decide the winners of the B Flight after two teams shot a 75. Bill Cramton and Shannon Beard took the tiebreaker, and Jacob Bruggeman and Kevin Adams finished second. Joe Bates and Terry Sanders won the tiebreaker for third place over Glen Carter and Lance Gross after both teams finished one stroke back.

Trey and Deanna Ott won the Mixed Flight with a nine-under-par 63. Steve and Stephanie Sinor took the tiebreaker for second place over Trent and Brenda White after both shot a four-under-par 68.

Proceeds from the tournament will benefit Hospice of the Hills, Care Center Ministries and the Flippin School District Food Pantry.
