
Cooper’s Hawk Golf Course in Melbourne was the site of another high school golf outing on Tuesday.
Salem won the girls’ side with a total of 148. Melbourne finished second at five strokes off the lead, and Harrison was fourth at 166. Melbourne’s Annie Rush was the medalist with a 43, and Salem’s Katie Fish ended up second at three strokes back.
Melbourne was the winner on the boys’ side with a total of 114. Harrison ended up tied for fourth at 143, Melbourne’s junior varsity team took sixth place at 149, and Salem finished seventh at 157. Melbourne’s Carter Manry won the medalist honor with a 35. Salem was led by Kamden Turner with a 48. Izard County’s lone golfer, Elijah Wilks, shot a 42.
