Tuesday volleyball results include MHHS beating Siloam Springs in straight sets

The Mountain Home High School volleyball team was able to open 5A-West action with a win on Tuesday.
The Lady Bombers were able to beat Siloam Springs in straight sets with scores of 25-19, 25-23 and 25-14. Anna McCarn led Mountain Home with 10 kills; Daelyn Harper had nine kills and six blocks; Carson Schmitz recorded six kills, 14 assists and seven digs; Ali Czanstkowski finished with four kills, 12 assists and 10 digs; Addison Martz added 13 digs; Lauren Rauls had 10 digs and two aces; and Deanna Human ended up with five blocks;
Mountain Home also won the junior varsity match in straight sets after posting scores of 26-24 and 25-18. The J.V. Lady Bombers were led by Lorelai Green with 10 kills; Aspen Vostatek recorded five kills and two blocks; Human chipped in five kills; Micayla Magis finished with four kills, 21 assists and five digs; Karleigh Drewry ended up with 11 digs; and Libby Dewey and Peeka Traver each added six digs.

Mountain Home Christian Academy was able to win all three matches at Flippin.
The Lady Eagles took the varsity match in four sets over the Lady Bobcats with scores of 25-21, 25-19, 19-25 and 25-18. Caroline Robinson led Mountain Home Christian with 13 kills, Kenna Riley had five kills and four blocks, Kayden Wright dished out 14 assists, Kytalin Cotter recorded seven digs, and Joanna Oliger finished with four assists and four aces.
Mountain Home Christian won the junior varsity match in straight sets. The J.V. Lady Eagles beat Flippin 25-12 and 25-18.
The junior high junior varsity match needed all three sets, but Mountain Home Christian was able to get past Flippin with scores of 25-14, 17-25 and 15-3.

Salem was able to pick up a victory in front of the home crowd. The Lady Greyhounds defeated Riverview in straight sets.

Izard County needed all five sets, but they were able notch another conference win in the Cougar Den. The Lady Cougars beat St. Joseph by scores of 18-25, 25-19, 20-25, 26-24 and 15-11.

Bergman had a short but tough road trip to Valley Springs. The Lady Panthers fell to the Lady Tigers in straight sets.

Harrison grabbed a straight-set victory over Alma. The Lady Goblins posted scores of 25-14, 25-21 and 25-19.
