The Mountain Home High School golf teams competed Wednesday at Eagle Crest Golf Course in Alma.
The Bombers finished second on the boys’ side with a total of 302, two strokes behind the defending Class 5A state champions from Benton. Ian Ellison led Mountain Home with a 72, Chace Berwald shot a 74, and Jack Coleman, Cody Cormican and Saylon Elmore each shot a 78. Ellison, Coleman, Cormican and Elmore each shot their personal best.
The Lady Bombers were fourth in the girls’ team standings at 341. Anna Torres had her best score of the year at 97, and Jordan Massie shot her personal best with a 114.
