High school football dominates the local schedule as 6A-West action gets underway for Mountain Home. The Bombers will wrap up their current home stand by welcoming Greenwood to the Twin Lakes Area.
Mountain Home is currently 2-0 on the season. The Bombers wrapped up non-conference play last weeke with a 13-point victory over Harrison. Greenwood is currently ranked first in Class 6A and fourth overall in the latest rankings from the Arkansas Sports Media. The Bulldogs are 2-0 after shutting out Northside last Friday in Fort Smith.
Mountain Home head coach Steve Ary says Greenwood presents a tough matchup, but it’s also a good way to prepare for the rest of the conference slate.
