A Mountain Home man who held a gun to his mother’s head and threatened to kill his family was arrested over the weekend. Twenty-two-year-old Wayne Randall Kindstrom is facing multiple charges from the incident.
According to the probable cause affidavit, Mountain Home Police were called to a residence on Lee Avenue Saturday evening for a domestic disturbance with a man pointing a gun at the victims. As officers arrived, victims were running out of the house. They told police Kindstrom was still in the house and armed with a pistol.
Officers went to the front door and called out for Kindstrom who complied and was taken into custody without incident.
Victims told officers the incident happened when Kindstrom got into an argument with his girlfriend. Kindstrom’s mother grabbed her phone and he allegedly said if she was calling the police, he “was going to kill them all.” Witnesses say Kindstrom then went to his bedroom, grabbed a pistol and pointed it at his family and said he would “kill them all before police could get there.” Witnesses say Kindstrom then loaded ammunition into the gun and held it to his mother’s head.
Kindstrom is facing five felony counts of aggravated assault and two misdemeanor counts of endangering the welfare of a minor. His bond is set at $50,000.
