A rural Baxter County man received what was termed a suspected minor injury after being thrown from his all-terrain vehicle on Sept. 1. Fifty-six-year-old Joseph Gorecki was transported by ambulance to Baxter Health.
According to a report from the Baxter County Sheriff’s Office, Gorecki was on traveling Osage Street, south of Clarkridge. His ATV reportedly locked up and tipped forward. Gorecki was thrown off the ATV and landed on the pavement, and the ATV veered off into the woods. He was reportedly not wearing a helmet.
The ATV was not damaged in the 5:42 p.m. accident.
