Monday volleyball results include MH losing 3 junior high matches at Marion

Mountain Home had a rough outing on the volleyball court as they were swept in three junior high matches at Marion.
The Junior Lady Bombers lost the varsity match in straight sets as the Junior Lady Patriots posted scores of 25-21 and 25-20. Annyston Crooker led Mountain Home with four kills, two digs and a block; Aleigh Lucas had three kills and two blocks; Ava Jones recorded two kills, five assists, two digs and an ace; Maddie Simmons finished with nine digs; and Bella Conyers added six digs and an ace. The Junior Lady Bombers fall to 3-6 on the season and 2-2 in the Northeast Arkansas Conference.
Mountain Home also lost the junior varsity match to Marion in straight sets with scores of 25-13 and 25-15. The Junior J.V. Lady Bombers were led by Addison McCarn with two kills and a block, Makenna Miller had eight digs, and Clara Ducker chipped in three digs.
The evening began with Marion beating Mountain Home in straight sets in the seventh grade match with scores of 25-20 and 25-11. The Seventh Grade Lady Bombers drop to 1-6 on the year.

On the high school level, Yellville-Summit had a tough night on the road. The Lady Panthers fell to Quitman in four sets.

Salem went to Searcy and suffered a straight set loss to Harding Academy. The Lady Wildcats beat the Lady Greyhounds 25-14, 26-24 and 25-18.

Marshall had a successful road trip. The Lady Bobcats went to the Panther Palace and defeated Bergman in straight sets.

Valley Springs picked up another win in front of the home crowd. The Lady Tigers were able to beat Clinton in straight sets.

Harrison went on the road and came away with a straight set win. The Lady Goblins topped Pea Ridge 25-21, 25-21 and 26-24.
