Marion Co. Sheriff partners with Yellville-Summit Schools for active shooter training

On Saturday, the Marion County Sheriff’s Office along with the staff of the Yellville-Summit Public Schools will he holding an active shooter training.

According to Marion County Sheriff Gregg Alexander, this event is specifically for law enforcement and school staff. It is not open to the public.

Alexander states “We hope to do these training exercises yearly. It benefits our officers as well as the school staff.”

The training will be held Saturday morning from 6 until Noon.
