The season will come to an end Monday for a number of area high school golfers on Monday.
Mountain Home and Harrison will both be in Alma for the Class 5A State Boys’ Tournament. The Bombers come in as the champions of the 5A-West, and the Goblins are the conference runners-up. Tee time at Eagle Crest Golf Course is scheduled for 8:30.
The Class 1A State Boys’ Tournament will be held at Fairfield Bay. Norfork and Viola will be among the teams competing, and they’ll be joined by Keadon Gill and Mason Dixon of Calico Rock, Blake Rogers of Mammoth Spring and Timbo’s Daylen Jelks and Grady Pitcock. Action at Mountain Ranch Golf Club will follow the 8:00 coaches meeting.
Glenwood Country Club is the site for the Class 3A State Boys’ Tournament. Flippin, Melbourne and Bergman will be the teams representing the area, and they’ll be joined by Kamden Turner of Salem and Levi Carey of Valley Springs. Tee time is set for 9.
