Another Mountain Home High School alumnus who was a multi-sport athlete will be part of the MHHS Athletic Hall of Honor. Steve Seiter, a graduate in 1978, will be inducted during Saturday’s banquet.
Seiter was originally born in Wichita, Kansas, but his family relocated to Mountain Home in 1963. During his time as a Bomber, he was selected to the All-State teams in baseball and football, and he also played basketball and ran track during all four years of high school. Seiter later played two years of baseball at North Arkansas College in Harrison.
After college, Seiter went on to a 35-year career of sales and management in the car business in Dexter, Missouri, until his retirement in 2020. His current passions include spending time with his grandchildren, fishing in tournaments and guiding fishing trips on the White River.
Seiter will be honored during the MHHS Athletic Hall of Honor Banquet Saturday in the high school cafeteria. The reception begins at noon, and the banquet and lunch will be an hour later. For tickets, contact the Mountain Home athletic office at 870-425-1285.
