A few area high school golfers were in Batesville on Wednesday for the Class 2A State Boys’ Tournament.
Yellville-Summit finished 10th in the team standings with a total of 303. Cedar Ridge claimed the title at 236.
Izard County’s Elijah Wilkes was named to the All-State team after finishing fourth with a 76. Caden Griffin of Cedar Ridge won the medalist honor on a playoff hole after he and Brooks Vangilder of Marmaduke both shot a 71.
