MH police chief announces candidacy for quorum court

A familiar name will be on the ballot next March for the Baxter County Quorum Court. Mountain Home Police Chief Eddie Griffin has announced his candidacy for JP for District 8. The seat is currently held by Roger Steele.

Griffin, who is running as a Republican, says running for the quorum court is something he has wanted to do for a while, and when he found out Steele is not seeking reelection, he thought the time is right.
