Thursday’s football schedule includes two of Mountain Home’s junior high teams back at Bomber Stadium for an outing with West Memphis West. The eighth grade game kicks off at 5 followed by the freshman contest. The track’s resurfacing project at the stadium has been completed, but Mountain Home Public School officials are keeping people off the track for the remainder of the week.
Elsewhere on the junior high level, Yellville-Summit hosts Atkins, Melbourne entertains Newport, and Harrison makes the trip to Van Buren. On the eight-man level, Mountain View is home against Cedar Ridge.
In high school eight-man football, Izard County hosts Augusta.
On the 11-man level, Ava heads to Willow Springs.
