The 2023 Women’s Veterans Summit will be coming to Mountain Home on Saturday on the campus of Real Life Church. The event will celebrate 75 years of women veterans service in the armed forces.
Arkansas Women Veterans Coordinator, Hollie Scoma, and Military Service Sisters founder, Elisha Grannis, recently where guests on KTLO’s Talk of the Town and Scoma says a variety of speakers the event will strengthen commradarie with local women veterans.

While many veteran organizations have a strong male presence it is important for female veterans to find a sense of community after their time of service.

Women make up the largest growing demographic in the armed services and Grannis shares how the women veteran organzations are expanding into traditional veteran organizations as well.
